EoD: A new beginning - Opening ceremonyFreshly healed from his misadventure in the perilous mountains, Hallvard had to leave the warm shelter which served as a house for the druids, a huge thousand-year-old tree who the hollow trunk was perfect for being so close to nature. He had already taken advantage of their hospitality too much and did not want to be a burden on them.
Coming out of the big tree that Mother Nature had offered to her children, Hall had the joy of plunging his gaze into the water so pure who released a magical aura: Lake Viviane.
It was located within the large and dense forest of Brocéliande, right next to the druids' refuce , and could apparently cure any ailment.
The feline wasted time observing this marvelous landscape.
In the north, when winter gave way to spring, the landscape was rather marshy, muddy and less vegetation.
Here, the vegetation and this influx of life that was felt in each creature, each plant, show how the north and the south of the island were so different.
Hallvard knew that
EoD: Chicken Run - MissionAfter his first night between the walls of Kamelot's castle, Hallvard was awakened by an unusual sound for him: roosters crowing.
Hiding his head under his ears while grumbling, he quickly understood that, even so, it would be impossible for him to be able to go back to sleep. This was to be the signal to indicate that it was time for the city to wake up.
So here it was not the sound of the horn that woke the villagers but the cry of these gallinaceous?
First apprenticeship of the day for the former Nordic.
After yawning and putting away his bed, Hallvard slowly came out of his room, glancing to the right and then to the left, before closing the door behind him and heading for the heavy wooden door which was used to close the castle.
Always as nervous when he passed near the guards posted on each side of the door like stone statues, his paws quickly arrived on the earthy ground of the city which was already in full activity.
A little disturbed by so much agitation, Hall watched the dif
EoD: A precious gift - The egg ceremonyIt was on a beautiful sunny day, with the wind slightly cool, that Hallvard had decided to go for a walk in the Brocéliande forest in order to find some objects to decorate his room a little. Remembering that the ambiance into the druid shelter, had greatly appeased him, the feline had into his head to reproduce this atmosphere a bit in his bedroom.
But before harvesting, Hall began harvesting large leaves and many lianas. The goal was simple: create a basket.
The male started weaving using lianas before putting the leaves inside, making a makeshift basket to transport his finds. In addition for better mobility, he attached it to his left side with a liana harness.
He was clever and above all cunning, qualities which had served him formerly, in the frozen plains of the north.
Without this, Hall would probably never have reached the young adult age, even that of adolescence.
With his little equipment finished, the adventure could begin.
Nimbly, the feline had chosen the path of the
EoD : Birds of night - EventAfter having gone to hunt hens, in order to help the farmer Madame Painsec, Hallvard had been invited to participate in a new capture mission.
After the hens, the new animal to be hunted was : owls .
His enthusiasm had dropped to the bottom when he was taught this. But after a while learning about these raptors, he had learned that the task would be much less easy.
Indeed, these beasts are creatures of the night and are very famous for their silent flight.
In addition, the opportunity to capture one would happen in the forest, a dangerous places if he did not pay attention.
Not to mention the risk of falling from the top of a tree if you ever try to catch this raptor by jumping on it.
Hall was going to have to use all his cunning to carry out this mission, but luckily, that was not what he missed. He began to recover a net from one of the villagers who was kind enough to lend him hunting time. Also, Hall kindly asked for a piece of used fabric. As the merchant no longer needed it, the
EoD: How to catch a wild Deer - MissionAfter being sure that his egg was safe and that his health was ideal, Hallvard left him well sheltered, before leaving in search of a new mission to accomplish.
Hallvard went around the city a bit to see if he could hear something that might interest someone like him. Perhaps a new, more interesting hunt would be offered this time.
A particular discussion caught his attention, which made him turn his head towards a guards group in full discussion.
Obviously, there was a problem with the kingdom's stables. It was empty, not a mount inside them on and it became a problem. If the knights did not have a mount, it was very difficult for them to defend the country because the speed and endurance of a mount was compulsory for defense in the event of attacks, not to mention the impassable paths unless owns these precious mounts.
The feline with golden glints waited patiently for two of the guards to go, then approaching the last guard who waited in front of the stables.
Hallvard took a confide
Dancing with the night's Stryx (stryxvent)The capital of Sol had been as usual hectic. Each lane, shopping avenue and even the smallest store were animated by the whole crowd, all the people who were new, passing through or well inhabitants.
But since one or two hours, nothing. Only a great silence and the sound of the whistling wind ran through the streets.
Night had fallen, and with it, the sleep of all its inhabitants.
Xarma was still awake.
His brown fur had changed with the fall of the night, passing in shades of blue. Oddly enough, he couldn't sleep and turned his head towards the shutters of the barn only who move slightly, as the wind was not very intense that night.
Before going back to bed, the feline looked at his stryxes who were sleeping peacefully. Although the darkness of the night did not allow you to see far, the eyes of the feline adapted to the night noticed the absence of one of these stryxes.
The large harpia, Daghild, whose plumage glowed as long as a dim light lit, was no longer in the barn.
Xarma unders

The winter this year has been frigid, to say the least. Each night my rider, Petunia, and I fly off into the sky looking for another stryx like me that's been shrouded in only mystery. I am usually a confident or cocky hawk, but my desire to continue this quest is dying. Every morning when we rest, another thick layer of snow has covered the ground. Petunia is often finding herself chin deep in it, and me, being the stud I am, dig her out loyally. She doesn't know how lucky she is. I preen my feathers as we wait for the next night, and I am about ready to deny Petunia's request to fly out into the cold. I am not a bird who enjoys the bitter chill of snow and wind. The sound of tree bows breaking under the sheer weight of the white devil only makes my feathers stand on end. Petunia's stubborn though, and she's come to me with better news for this e
[DS] Stryx Event 2019 | Hibernia SolstitiaSee the Stars; How They Dance
In the Winter seasons, the days become shorter and the nights grow longer. The Winter chill brings with it snow and ice and for most, it is a reason, and excuse, to light the logs in the fireplace and take shelter from the biting chill, to enjoy drinks that are considered more appropriate for the season and the events that come with Winter.
For others, the Winter season brings with it its own beauty; Spring with the flowers and creatures, a time of new life and for some… Allergies. Summer is a time of holidays; the sun and the warm temperatures that come with the long days and short nights. Autumn with its own colours of vibrant reds and glittering gold that signals the beginning of the harvest seasons and the holidays of Hallowed Eve.
In Winter mornings the only colour one would find is a dominant white; snow and ice that covers everything like a blanket of varied thickness. The mountain caps that stretch into the sky lik
The Longest NightOn the longest night of the year, the spirits of cold and dark gathered for a grand feast and get-together. On the shortest day of the year, the sky was dark with the fluttering of dozens of wings. The stars glittered with immortal eyes. While they feasted on platters of ambrosia and nectar, they boasted of their deeds and accomplishments from all of the year before.
‘I am the spirit of lost and wandering souls. When a life strays from its course, I am the light who guides them to salvation.’
‘I am the spirit of virtuous fear. I am the cautionary tales of monsters in the woods, the crack of the ice before it gives way. I stand as the gatekeeper between life and unfortunate death.’
‘I am the spirit of remembrance. When a mortal lies awake in the dark, drifting to blissful rest, I am the memory lurking in the back of their mind, reminding them of glorious days and old shame. I am the innocence of childhood. I am the scars of age.’
Hibernia Solstitia flies a race Mojave rolled over, sighing to himself. No one wanted to play with him. They said they were busy, but when he tried to join in they said he wasn’t helping. They said it was too cold, but when he tried to play inside the barn he was “knocking stuff over” and “causing a mess.” Besides, he didn’t think it was too cold out. His wing membranes were only a little numb. Surely a good race would help warm them up! Instead, he stared mournfully at the sky. It was such a sharp, brilliant blue that it made his eyes hurt. The sun looked white instead of yellow. There were no clouds. Perhaps it was too cold for clouds. Or too dry. Mojave sneezed.
He decided to bury himself. Maybe the other stryx would miss him and come looking. And then they could play hide and seek! Still flopped on his back, Mojave started scooping snow over himself, fi

Once a year, there is a time when the sun never rises. It's the eternal night of winter. It's said that during that time, a certain and peculiar Tyto appears. The Tyto is said to be the soul of the darkest time of the year and its name is Hibernia Solstitia.
A Tyto flew above snowy hills. It had a dark blue feather coat filled with bright flecks and dots that reminded many of stars not unlike that of the night sky above it. Its eyes glowed ever so slightly, filled with knowledge and wisdom of many years. It didn't have a destination or an objective, it merely flew and observed. The hills below it lowered and gave way to a valley. The valley started with a forest, the trees of which were weighed down by the snow that had cling on to them. A river tha
Everybody can be fall in love -(Monthly Challenge)February, one of the months of the year or winter still reign supreme. Compared to the others months of this winter, this one was rather mild this year, showing that winter would soon give up its big white coat of snow against the intense green of the new herbs fresh out of the ground. The bare trees would also recover green foliage which, little by little, would make them look less frightening than at present.
Everything that was dormant would soon come out of its torpor, reviving this desert of ice and white powder.
But that was not all. In all the corners of Wyvera a usual ritual warmed the heart of all beings: The month of February was also that of love.
And this was especially the case for stryxes. Each of them wishes to conquer the favors of a partner in the hope of founding a couple. A strong bond that some stryx keep for life.
The shaman had followed, in the middle of the night, two of his stryxes which seemed to be heading far from the city.
